Erika Naes

Academic Advisor, Professional MBA; Olin Business School

Erika Naes (Nay-z) has been working in higher education for 10+ years in various scopes of work; from custodial to registrar to student success spaces, her breadth of experience within higher education is substantial. With a passion for helping individuals maximize where they are and find their purpose/place, she decided that academic advising was the career she wanted to pursue as she finished up her undergraduate studies as an adult learner in a degree completion program at Greenville University. She then went on to receive her M.A. in Higher Education Administration from University of Louisville in 2018.

After rising to the role of Associate Dean of Student Success and Academic Advising at Greenville University (Greenville, IL), she decided she wanted to diversify her experience and focus more directly in the area of advising. She is currently the Academic Advisor for the Professional MBA program at Olin Business School (Washington University in St. Louis) and enjoys being able to find ways to support the professional students in thriving academically and connecting interpersonally and professionally.

Outside of work, Erika enjoys all things plant and homesteading related. She has three kids who tolerate her homesteading goals and an amazing husband who enables them.
