The event is presented by WashU’s strategic plan, Here and Next and features in-person experiences from research presentations, active dialogue, and more.

Together We Made a Difference
The Danforth Staff Council’s Community Engagement Committee once again arranged a successful food drive for a local non-for-profit. This year, nearly 400 cans of food and toiletry items were collected for Operation Food Search (OFS).
DSC Fall Food Drive
The WashU community is invited to join the Danforth Staff Council’s Fall Food Collection Drive which will help Operation Food Search stock their shelves for the holidays and in preparation for the winter months. Collection bins will be distributed across campus Nov. 27 through Dec. 11.

The WashU Danforth Staff Council has added 12 new members and elected its executive officers for the academic year. The chair is Jessica Martsolf, who works at Olin Business School.
2023 Day of Dialogue and Action (Links to an external site)
Register now for the upcoming 2023 Day of Dialogue and Action (DoDA) on Thursday, April 27 at 9 a.m.
The event will feature in-person experiences from keynote speakers, panel discussions and more. The event will take place in Knight Hall, Emerson Auditorium, on WashU’s Danforth Campus.
Overflow seating will take place in Frick Forum and a YouTube live stream also will be available that day for virtual attendees.

March Donation Drive
All month long, the council is bringing awareness to the Northside Youth and Senior Service Center and their Giving Hearst Community Closet. This charity helps people who are struggling with challenges such as lack of housing, job loss, mental health, and other issues.
