Anna Eggemeyer

Anna Eggemeyer joined the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures at Wash U in 2007 as the Editorial Assistant for the Revista de Estudios Hispánicos, the department’s peer-reviewed journal, which publishes original manuscripts in all areas of Hispanic literatures, cultures, and film. In 2016, she was promoted to Production Editor of the same publication, and her role was also expanded to support the Latin American Studies Program. Anna enjoys writing, editing, musical theater, traveling, and any outdoors activity. She received her MFA in Creative Writing – Fiction from UMSL in 2011, and her short fiction has been published in literary journals. She also loves branching out and connecting with others at Wash U, and has been a member of WUSTL Speaks, the Danforth campus Toastmasters Club, since 2015. She has served on the executive committee of this club, as the Treasurer, Vice President – Education, and the Sergeant at Arms. She will begin her second nonconsecutive term as Sergeant at Arms again this July.
