2024 Fall Forum Recap

Our Mission

The DSC was formed in 2016 to serve and represent non-faculty and non-union Danforth staff members. We seek to collaborate with the senior administration (Associate Vice Chancellor/Provost level and above) and Human Resources to broaden and strengthen the lines of communication on matters that impact staff and to provide advice to the administration on policy decisions.

Areas of Focus

  • Strengthen relationships between faculty and staff/managers.
  • Ensure collegiality with a focus on campus culture.
  • Link performance reviews to staff compensation.
  • Focus on campus diversity and inclusion initiatives for progress and need.

We’re all learning together and are invested in each other’s success. I have found it to be a supportive community and gained skills and perspectives that help me take on other challenges.
