Marta Wegorzewska

Marta has been part of the WashU community since 2014. She joined as a postdoctoral scientist doing research at WUSM on immune responses to gut microbes. After years of working in the lab, she made a career transition into science communication. She traded her pipettes for pen and paper and joined the Department of Biology at WashU in 2017 to pursue science writing and editing. Outside of work, Marta spends time rock climbing and learning about the world through her toddler’s eyes.
