Patrol Bureau Commander/Assistant Chief Of Police; Washington University Police Department

I am a captain with WUPD. I oversee the day-to-day patrol operations of the department and serve as Assistant Chief of Police.  I have a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Northern Michigan University (NMU) and have worked in the law enforcement and campus security field for over 28 years. I enlisted in the Michigan Army National Guard in 1986. I was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in 1992 after completing the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) program at NMU and recently retired from the US Army Reserve at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. I am a decorated veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom.  I am a published author and have written two books about the history and hauntings at military bases around the country. I currently live in Florissant, Missouri with my wife Lisa and our daughter, Tessa.
