They hold monthly DSC meetings and work with each committee to address the various needs and requests proposed by staff. They are also responsible for setting a meeting agenda to be shared with the Executive Vice Chancellor for Administration and DSC members.

The HR committee is also familiar with resources and benefits available to staff members.

They sort and review all applications, work with HR to ensure applicant eligibility, and make selection recommendations to the DSC. The committee shall report final selection results in an announcement to the Danforth staff, Human Resources, and the senior administration. The committee is also responsible for soliciting and collecting annual nominations for all Executive Committee and chair positions on the DSC.
Community Engagement Committee: Committee Chair, Secretary, and DSC elected member(s)

These committees address specific issues of concern to the DSC. The formation of an Ad-Hoc Committee requires approval from the DSC and are reviewed after six months to determine its ongoing continuation.
